The ingredients for this recipe will make you feel incredible. There’s obviously matcha tea powder, which has a huge variety of health benefits. Besides providing you with a big energy boost (but no jitters), matcha powder is full of antioxidants, has been associated with lowered blood pressure and decreased risk of stroke, and has properties that fight against cancer. It’s also calming without making you drowsy, and helps with weight loss and better-looking skin.
Coconut oil is also good for curbing hunger, and has its own host of healthy benefits, including the ability to improve blood cholesterol levels, the ability to protect skin and hair, and the ability to help get rid of particularly stubborn fat.
Ginger is great to ward off nausea, and can also reduce muscle pain, help with indigestion, and improve period cramps.
Cinnamon contains loads of antioxidants (much like matcha tea), is also an anti-inflammatory, and is a warrior against bacterial and fungal infections.
Pumpkin is great because, other than adding taste, creamy texture, and a lovely pop of color, it’s also a good source of fiber, potassium, and vitamins A and E.
This spiced pumpkin protein matcha tea is more than just tasty and comforting. It also has lots of things you’ll love to start off your day.
