No-Bake Matcha Oreo Tart Recipe

    (for the tart base)

  • 36 Oreos, without the cream
  • 3 tablespoons pailleté feuilletine
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons dark chocolate
  • (for the filling)

  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • one tablespoon Epic Matcha green tea powder
  • 1 cup thickened cream

    For the Tart Base:

  1. Pulse the Oreos (without the cream filling) in a food processor until powdery. Combine this with the pailleté feuilletine, and mix well.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine butter and chocolate, and microwave for 1–3 20-second intervals, stirring. *Note: The chocolate won’t look like it’s melting. It keeps its shape until it’s mixed.
  3. Add the butter/chocolate mixture into the Oreo mixture and combine until evenly moist.
  4. Using a clean tart pan with a removable bottom, press the tart base mixture evenly all around the tart pan. Take care to ensure that it’s an even, flat base.
  5. Refrigerate for at least an hour so that it sets properly.
  6. Once the tart base is set, gently pour the cooled matcha ganache (directions below) into the tart pan.
  7. Put into the refrigerator to set for about 3 hours.
  8. For the Matcha Ganache Filling:

  9. Heat the cream until it comes to a boil.
  10. Very carefully, pour over the white chocolate chips to melt them, then stir until smooth.
  11. Whisk in the matcha powder, making sure that all the matcha powder is completely dissolved.
  12. Set aside and let cool.
