Easy, scrumptious, healthy matcha peppermint fudge for those holiday parties…or maybe just for yourself.
When it comes to fudge, it doesn’t get much better than peppermint. And by adding a little matcha green tea powder to the recipe, therefore takes this already delicious flavour to new levels of greatness.
This peppermint matcha fudge recipe is easy, and only requires around ten minutes of actual “creation time.” It’s delightfully delicious, and it also makes a great on-the-go snack—or, it’s just the thing to bring to a party. Just make sure to bring enough.
And because we’re using matcha powder in the recipe, it’s a guilt-free treat. The matcha will add plenty to these little pieces of fudge, hence, giving you energy, alertness, calmness, and lots of health benefits.

- 15 ounces milk chocolate chips
- 8 ounces white chocolate morsels
- 1 13-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 teaspoons butter + extra for greasing your pan
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1.5 teaspoons peppermint extract
- 3 teaspoons Epic Matcha green tea powder
- Butter a 9×9-inch brownie pan, and line with parchment paper. *Note: Leave a 2-inch overhang of parchment paper so that you can easily remove the fudge.
- Combine the milk chocolate chips, condensed milk, and butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir often so that the chocolate doesn’t scorch, and keep the heat near or below medium so it doesn’t burn.
- When this is completely melted, remove the saucepan from the stove and whisk in the vanilla and peppermint extracts. Pour the fudge into the prepared pan, and let it sit for at least three hours (until solid).
- When the fudge sets, melt the white chocolate in the microwave (about 1 minute, stirring as needed), and whisk in the matcha powder until there are no lumps.
- Evenly pour this over the fudge, and smooth out with a spatula or knife. Let this sit for at least another hour (until firm).
- Decorate with extra melted white chocolate drizzles, if you’d like!
- Remove the fudge from the pan by lifting up on the parchment paper, and transfer it to a work surface.
- Finally, cut the fudge into 12–16 squares, serve, and enjoy!
