One of our favorite qualities of this matcha drink recipe is how quickly you can personalize it. By switching the vanilla ice cream to chocolate, you have a new rich-tasting rendition of this simply amazing Russian Root Beer Float. For a fruity twist, pick up strawberry frozen yogurt to replace the vanilla ice cream. The vegetal taste of matcha green tea pairs perfectly with the sweet flavor of strawberries.
Be careful with what ice cream you choose, though. Ice cream flavors that have a lot of candy or extra ingredients added aren’t always the best choice for this matcha green tea drink recipe. When you’re ready for more matcha recipes, visit the Epic Matcha blog.
