Vanilla Matcha Tarts Recipe

Vanilla Matcha Tarts Recipe
    Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup ground flaxseed
  • 1/4 cup quick cooking oats
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 8 dates
  • 1/2 cup coconut cream
  • 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon coconut nectar
  • 1/4 large avocado
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 vanilla pod, scraped
  • 1/4 cup shredded unsweetened coconut
  • 1 teaspoon Epic Matcha green tea powder
    Directions
  1. Add all the crust ingredients together into the bowl of a food processor, and blend until the ingredients clump together.
  2. Remove mixture from the food processor and dump it into a medium-sized bowl. Using your hands, mix the ingredients into one ball of dough.
  3. Divide the dough into three parts, and press it into mini tart shells. NOTE: For smaller tarts, use a muffin tin.
  4. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and place the shells in the oven to bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden and firm to the touch.
  5. Remove shells from the oven and place on a cooling rack.
  6. To make the filling, add all the filling ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth. The mixture should be fairly thick, almost like whipped cream.
  7. When the shells are fully cooled, place the filling in the shells and put them in the oven to set.
  8. Store in the fridge, and enjoy!
