Start your morning right with a delicious cup of healthy peppermint bliss.
Peppermint is very good for you, and we all know that matcha is amazing for you too. So with this peppermint matcha tea latte recipe, you’re getting a double dose of health benefits that will give you eye-opening energy, a relaxed feeling of calm, and increased focus and concentration for your day.
Plus, it’s absolutely delicious and comforting.
Matcha tea powder makes a truly great alternative to coffee because it’s still caffeinated, but it doesn’t spike your energy levels. Instead, it keeps a more stabilized and sustained energy level for you over the course of several hours. Bottom line: Yyou get that energy that you’re after, but no jitters or crash. You’ll be alert and perky, but not edgy.
Peppermint has long been used to remedy stomach problems and tension headaches, and it’s also good for clearing out nasal congestion. This peppermint matcha tea latte recipe calls for a couple drops of peppermint essential oil—and one drop is the equivalent of 20 cups of peppermint tea!
The matcha powder is high in antioxidants, and is a natural detoxifier. It rids your body of chemical toxins and heavy metals, and is great for a healthy heart, lowered cholesterol, and younger-looking skin.
Matcha green tea powder is also a preventative against tumor growth, as well as a fighter against diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease, and certain cancer types (colon, throat, stomach, and prostate). Matcha aids in a healthy heart, healthy gums, and regulated blood sugar.
It’s also good for digestion (like the peppermint), and is a huge calorie-burner to boot. On top of all this, matcha powder is an immune system booster that will also bring a peaceful calmness to your brain.
There may be other ways to start your day off, but we’re not sure why you’d go with anything else!
