L-Theanine is a powerful amino acid that can help your body fight free radicals. This was just one of the many topics discussed regarding the many health benefits of matcha tea.

The discussion quickly turned to why matcha is the perfect solution for people who want to lose weight. They claimed that by just substituting matcha tea as your morning beverage, you will block fat cells by the rich nutrients found in matcha tea.

Dr. Oz also spoke about the beneficial power of using matcha tea to fight off diseases, by flooding your body with antioxidants. Matcha tea can also help to improve your immune system, and reduce stress by calming your brain.

If you were to add one new food or drink to your diet to improve your health, matcha tea would make an excellent choice.
