A delicious, fruit-flavored treat to keep you calm and boost your energy.
A bright, pretty, and incredibly healthy smoothie that’s packed full of eye-opening energy, this mango matcha smoothie is just right for breakfast, snacks, or dessert. And because it’s quick to throw together and blend up, there’s no excuse to reach for those cookies instead of this refreshing treat.
Using the delicious combination of mango, banana, orange, and matcha flavors, this smoothie will also satisfy your sweet tooth!
Besides the potassium and energy you’ll get from the bananas and the nutrients you’ll receive from the mangoes, the matcha green tea powder will fill you up with amazing goodness.
Matcha has all the health benefits of regular green tea, but a whole lot more. Consuming the entire leaf ground into powder will get you all the rich benefits of the tea leaf.
This includes antioxidants, which protect your body’s healthy cells from things like tobacco smoke, UV rays, and polluted air. Not only that—antioxidants also get rid of already-damaged cells in your body.
Matcha powder is also rich in magnesium, potassium, iron, fiber, and vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, C, E, and K. However, many people’s favorite ingredient in matcha is its L-theanine, an amazing amino acid that helps matcha consumers feel calm, alert, and de-stressed. Unlike coffee, it increases your energy level through a slower release of caffeine into your system—so instead of the edgy energy boost you tend to get from coffee, matcha helps you feel steadily energetic.
The L-theanine is also great for an enhanced mood, lowered cholesterol and blood pressure, and an immunity boost.
Matcha tea powder includes catechins, which are amino acids that help oxidize fat and boost the rate at which you burn calories, so matcha also helps you control your weight.
With all those benefits, why not try this delightful mango matcha smoothie recipe? It will help keep you focused, energized, and relaxed for the rest of the day.
