There’s nothing quite like a homemade shake. You can play dessert chef, adding or taking away flavors and textures to your exact liking, and it’s always fun to make and delicious to drink.
Plus, with spring just around the corner, the weather’s now quickly getting warmer—and we’re not sure about you, but we’re already beginning to crave colder, more satisfying drinks (along with lengthy, lazy days at the beach, swimming pools, and cooler spring clothes!).
So, why not treat yourself to something both extra-tasty and extra-healthy that will satisfy your taste buds and your nutrition needs?
Plenty of matcha bars are popping up all over the country, and some of them even serve matcha shakes. They’re one of the most popular menu items, but with this recipe, you can make your very own in the comfort of your own kitchen.
This mm-mm matcha powder coconut vanilla shake is creamy and smooth, rich and decadent. It has a bright, flavorful aroma, and because it’s made with matcha green tea powder, you’ll get a huge dose of powerful antioxidants with it. Matcha green tea powder also wakes you up, keeps you alert, and sharpens your focus and concentration, without the jitters and crash of caffeine. It also burns calories, acts as a detoxifier, raises memory, lowers cholesterol and blood sugar, and can even help fight cancer.
