Matcha green tea powder is a superfood that provides you with mental clarity, focus, and concentration, which is pretty much exactly what you want in the morning. It also gives you an energy boost and won’t give you a caffeine crash the way that coffee typically does.

Besides calming you while providing an energy boost, matcha tea powder is also a cancer preventer, is great for your heart and blood pressure, decreases the risk of stroke, and detoxifies your body. It also aids in lowering cholesterol, and helps fight the appearance of aging by combating inflammation and oxidation.

Other benefits of matcha powder include faster calorie burning, and a big increase in your immunity. It helps with fiber and promotes heart health as well, and decreases your risk of diabetes and stroke.

So, in short, you definitely want matcha in your muffins! Just make sure you bake enough of these yummy little guys.
