Try it and feel like your own personal superhero. Feel free to adjust the the ingredients to your liking, including more or less sweetener. If it’s your first adventure with buttered beverages, start with a small amount of butter and oil and work your way up.

Bombproof Matcha Recipe

Bulletproof Coffee vs. Bombproof Matcha
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons pure organic coconut oil
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons pure organic unsalted butter or Ghee
  • ½ to 1 teaspoon Epic Matcha green tea powder
  • 1 cup of fresh, filtered water
  • 1 teaspoon of organic agave or organic honey (optional)
  1. Heat water to just below boiling (around 200 degrees Fahrenheit).
  2. Combine your hot water, Epic Matcha, coconut oil and butter in a blender or food processor.
  3. Blend until frothy and foamy, about 20-30 seconds. No blender? Simply melt your butter first, and whisk everything very well or put all the contents into a shaker bottle and shake vigorously. *be careful blending or shaking near boiling contents in an air-tight container as the steam can expand rapidly, creating a hot mess./
  4. Pour into a cup, press pause on your day, and slowly savor your Bomb-Stopping Matcha.
